Ink on yupo paper studies

Geo Moderne is a series of studies made with acrylic inks on yupo paper (a synthetic paper). The Art Deco movement and the nostalgia, elegance and glamour of the 1920’s inspired this series. The “golden age” was synonymous with modernist ideas of progress, optimism and luxury. I used a limited color palette of black & white in addition to metallic bronze or copper.
