A few of my favorite things! I’m finding inspiration right now in seashells, Surrealism, architectural mouldings that resemble shells, objects rendered in black and white like the artwork by Anne Muntges and Mary and Pat Kelley below.
Looking closely at the work of these artists and discovering what’s drawing me in. I’m featuring images of artwork by Milano Chow, Anne Muntges, Mary Reid Kelley and Patrick Kelley, Salvador Dali, Dorothea Tanning. I’ve been spending time perusing the shell shapes on decoratorssupply.com , drawing them in my sketchbook to get their curvilinear shapes into my hands and then drawing paper cutout versions.
